The National School Boards Association seeks an experienced professional to review, analyze and evaluate NSBA’s collection of databases, while ensuring high levels of data availability; producing valuable information through the use of Reporting Tools; and analyzing and proposing improvements in internal processes, as well as developing internal workflows.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience; experience working with large, complex databases and ensuring data integrity; strong experience with SQL-server; experience in troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and the Microsoft Office suite of applications; project management experience; experience creating spreadsheets and reports using applications such as Microsoft Excel, Crystal Reports, Access, SQL, and Visual Studio; experience in Business Objects Enterprise technologies building and maintaining (Universes, InfoView, Designer, WebIntelligence and Xcelsius).
Candidate must have experience with Microsoft SharePoint developing custom web parts, workflows, and components by using SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio; command of technical concepts, and the ability to serve as an effective bridge between end-users and technical resources; demonstrated strategic thinking ability and strong communication skills, both oral and written; ability to generate creative solutions in the development of processes and structures and translate them into actionable items that yield results; demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment as a leader and team member; demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective technical training programs.
