Membership/Sales Adminstration
The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce is a business advocacy organization based in Trenton. Created in 1911, the State Chamber staff represents its members on a wide range of business and education issues at the State House and in Washington. The organization also links the state’s local and regional chambers on issues of importance through its grassroots legislative network.
This position requires an experienced, team oriented, and a highly motivated professional individual capable of multi-tasking. Duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Provide assistance to sales managers with reports, invoices and database questions
- Coordinates membership mailings for business directory updates
- Prepare monthly membership renewal reports
- Prepare monthly renewal invoices
- Review sales commission reports
Excellent computer, communications and interpersonal skills are required. Successful candidate must be able to work in a team-oriented environment. Must have experience working with databases and Microsoft Office products. Familiarization with association databases such as NetForum is desirable. Successful candidate must be a High School graduate with some college education.
